My imagination takes me to some weird and wonderful places. Lately the world of fantastical steampunk has tickled my fancy. These pieces have no rules, no constraints to hold them back. They are pure creativity and a representation of where my mind has been drifting lately.
Sometimes I am just trying to paint a feeling, such as joy or freedom. Sometimes my work is whacky, influenced by steampunk and the world of Dr Suess.
Overall I like to surprise and have a bit of fun with my art.

My latest abstract art
"I don't usually paint abstract art and I guess this is about as close as I have come to doing so. I have really enjoyed exploring this new idea. I particularly like the textured, looser style I have used here. I'm not sure where this series will go. but it is what I am currently engrossed in. An interesting thing about some of these canvases is that they are canvases with history, there are other paintings hiding behind what you can see. Paintings I have discarded, their old brushstrokes and textures are evident behind the current paintings and now deliver a unique layer of depth to the work"
